Developer Documentation

Build on Tournament Suite. Pull tournament, bracket, match, and player data into your products with the read-only Data API, a realtime event stream, and Webhooks.

The Tournament Suite Data API gives you programmatic, read-only access to the same tournament data that powers public esports portals, organizer dashboards, and white-label competitive programs. Use it to pull tournaments, brackets, matches, match events, player stats, and teams into your own products, and to stay in sync with live activity through Webhooks or the realtime data stream.

Data API at a glance

The Data API is a read-only surface: it lets you fetch tournament, bracket, match, match-event, player-stat, and team data. It does not create or modify anything — there is no endpoint to create a tournament, register or manage participants, or submit a match result. Those actions stay in the Platform dashboard.

  • Scoped access — each API key is limited to the resources it needs (for example read:tournaments, read:matches, read:player_stats, read:teams), so you only request the scopes your integration actually uses.
  • Rate limited by plan — every key has a per-minute request limit tied to your subscription tier.
  • Two ways to get live updates — register a webhook endpoint to receive event callbacks, or open a realtime Socket.IO connection to the data stream (scope stream:match_events) for live match and tournament events pushed directly to your app.
  • First-party TypeScript SDK — a lightweight client wraps both the REST endpoints and the realtime stream so you don't have to hand-roll request signing or socket handling.

Who this API is for

The Tournament Suite Data API is designed for:

  • Tournament organizers who want to pull their tournament, bracket, match, and player data into internal tools, dashboards, or reporting
  • Esports studios and publishers building their own branded stats pages, bracket displays, or spectator experiences on top of live tournament data
  • Agencies that operate events on behalf of publishers and need read access to tournament data across their properties
  • Integration partners embedding bracket views, live standings, or match results into websites and applications

Getting started

  1. Create an account and project on the Platform dashboard
  2. Generate an API key with the scopes your integration needs
  3. Make your first API call
  4. Stay in sync with live activity: subscribe to webhooks, or connect to the realtime data stream with the TypeScript SDK
