Create a Project
Learn how to create a new project, which is the top-level container for your tournaments, team members, circuits, and financials.
A project is the organizational unit that holds everything related to your competitive program — tournaments, team members, circuits, financials, and communication. You create one project per organization or program, then build everything else inside it.
Where to find it
Projects → Create project
Step by step
- Open the Projects section from the main navigation.
- Click Create project in the top-right corner.
- Enter a project name. Choose something that reflects your organization or program (e.g., "Apex Legends EMEA Open").
- Optionally add a description to give your team context about the project's purpose.
- Choose a project type: Esports Platform, Rental Service, Coaching Academy, Cloud Gaming, or Marketplace. This sets the default experience type, theme, and feature focus for the project — Esports Platform is selected by default, but you can pick the option that best matches your program. You can adjust related settings later.
- Select a plan. Free and paid tiers are listed with their monthly tournament limits and included features (such as custom branding, developer API access, or priority support).
- Optionally check Populate with demo data to add sample teams, tournaments, and matches so you can explore the dashboard before setting up your own data.
- Click Create Project to finish. If you selected a paid plan, the button instead reads Continue to payment — you'll be redirected to secure checkout, and the project is created and activated once payment completes.
What happens next
After creating a project, set up your team and configure the project's identity before running any events.
