Set Up Streams and the Broadcast Center

Add stream links, run production from the Broadcast Center, and manage overlays, graphics, and your stream key.

These tools are for organizers running a live production alongside a tournament — whether that's a single stream on Twitch or a multi-feed broadcast with overlays and graphics. Streams surface links to viewers on the public event page; the Broadcast Center is where you coordinate the production side.

Where to find it

  • Streams: Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Streams
  • Broadcast Center: Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Broadcast → Center
  • Broadcast Overlays / Graphics / Settings: Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Broadcast → Overlays / Graphics / Settings
  • Display Screen: Projects → [Project] → [Tournament] → Display (listed alongside Branding and Share, not under Broadcast)

Step by step

Adding a stream

  1. Go to Streams in your tournament sidebar.
  2. Click Add stream.
  3. Enter the stream URL and choose the platform: Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, Trovo, Custom RTMP (for a self-hosted encoder), or Custom.
  4. Choose where the stream link should appear: the tournament's Watch tab, the match stream panel, a widget embed, and/or the broadcast overlay. You can select more than one display target.
  5. Assign the stream to specific matches or leave it set to the overall tournament.
  6. Click Save. The stream is now visible to viewers wherever you selected it to appear.

Managing streams

  • View all configured streams in the Streams list.
  • Use the edit or remove actions on any stream to update or delete it.
  • Open Streams → Analytics to review each stream's viewer counts (current and peak) alongside its lifecycle state (draft, configured, ready, live, paused, offline, failed over, archived, retired) and health state (healthy, degraded, unstable, failed, offline, unknown).

Using the Broadcast Center

  1. Go to Broadcast → Center.
  2. Set the session status (ready, live, paused, or ended) and an output label to track the state of your production.
  3. Use the run-of-show panel to plan segments (pre-show, matches, breaks, and so on) and control them live — start, hold, or complete each segment as the event progresses.
  4. Set featured coverage — the match, stage, or stream currently highlighted — either manually or driven by an automatic source (auto-bracket or schedule).
  5. Toggle overlays between live, hidden, and preview, and update on-screen elements like the ticker and lower-third.
  6. Use the multi-stream manager to coordinate several simultaneous feeds, and the sponsor slot manager to schedule sponsor placements during the broadcast.

Configuring overlays, graphics, and settings

  • Broadcast → Overlays: preview and manage the live overlay output shown on your stream.
  • Broadcast → Graphics: choose a graphics package for your broadcast's visual style.
  • Broadcast → Settings: create your broadcast configuration if you haven't already, and manage your stream key — reveal or hide it, and rotate it to invalidate the previous key.

Sharing the Display Screen

The Display Screen page (Display in the tournament sidebar) gives you a copyable URL and a QR code meant for venue TVs and screens — open it on a screen at your event to show live matches, recent results, standings, and sponsor placements to attendees. It's a separate, presentation-only surface and isn't used to configure overlays.

What happens next

Once your streams are configured and your broadcast setup is in place, review your tournament's visual identity before going live:

  • Branding and Sponsors — set your logo, colors, and sponsor presence
  • Live Operations Overview — manage matches and results in real time during the event

Handle Officiating and Formal Disputes

The officiating workspace is where referees and moderators review cases, issue formal rulings, and manage dispute resolution from submission through publication.

Set Up Branding and Sponsors

Upload visual assets, configure brand colors, manage sponsors at the circuit level, and share your tournament with links and embeddable widgets.
