Export Participants

What participant data you can currently review and export for a tournament, and what a CSV export will contain once it's available.

Tournament organizers regularly need a copy of the participant list — for production staff, a bracket tool, a spreadsheet, or a record of who registered. CSV export of the full participant list is on the roadmap, but it is not yet available as a self-service action in the dashboard.

Current availability

There is no Export button on the Participants pages today. This page will be updated with the exact steps once export is available from the dashboard.

What you can do today

  • Open the tournament's Participants section to review live data across its tabs: All, Pending, Waitlisted, Check-in, Teams, and Eligibility. These are read-only lists — there's no drill-down into an individual entry from here.
  • Use manage registrations to approve or reject pending registrations one at a time, and to promote waitlisted entries into the active roster individually or in a batch. There's currently no way to approve or reject multiple registrations at once.
  • Run check-in before your event to confirm which participants actually show up.

What to expect once export ships

  • The export will be a CSV file covering every participant registered to the tournament — it will not be limited to a status filter or the tab you have open, so plan to filter or sort the downloaded file yourself if you only need a subset (for example, participants with Approved status).
  • CSV is the only export format planned; there is no XLSX or PDF option.
  • The file will include core participant and team identity and status fields — for example name, team, entry type, registration/approval/waitlist/eligibility/check-in status, seed, and registration timestamps.
  • It will not include custom field responses — there's currently no way to view an individual participant's custom field responses anywhere in the dashboard, so plan to collect that information through an additional channel if you need it.

What happens next

  • Review custom fields to see what additional information you're collecting from participants.
  • Use manage registrations to approve or reject pending entries.
  • Run check-in ahead of your event to confirm attendance.
